One day a good witch was toiling away in her studio when she heard a scratching at her window. Curious, she went to check it out. When she opened the window there stood the most beautiful purple and blue dragon she had ever seen. The first thing the Witch noticed about this beauty was her striking purple and blue eyes! Displaced from her home, they agree that the dragon would stay with the good Witch. She got the dragon some food and water and they retired for the night. The next morning, right at dawn, the Witch heard an awful scream from outside the window. She rushed over to see her evil sister trying to slay the dragon. As fast as she could move, she headed to the kitchen and whipped up a potion. Then she ran to the window and chucked the potion at the witch, but it didn't hit her sister. Instead, all at once, the dragon was shrunk into a pendant for safe keeping. To this day, that eye stares out at the world as a warning and also serves as a protective talisman for whomever wears it. The dragon eye has been a powerful symbol of protection for many cultures for thousands of years.

Care instructions: Anodized aluminum is hypoallergenic and lightweight. It will not rust or tarnish. Use mild soap and warm water to gently clean the chainmaille component of this necklace and allow to air dry. When not wearing your jewelry, store the piece in its own Ziploc® or soft fabric bag. Keep in a dark place. This will preserve colored rings longer. Do not shower, sleep, or swim with your jewelry on.
