Green Dragon’s Eye Amulet Necklace

One-of-a-kind dragon eye pendant designed and sculpted by Royally Skewed Art. Pendant is made from Cosclay, quartz, howlite, super shift pigment powder and glass eye, and measures approximately 2” wide by 3.75” long.

Collar/necklace in “Great Southern Gathering” chainmaille handwoven by Tornadoland Art + Jewelry from premium anodized aluminum and anodized niobium rings. Necklace measures 0.75” wide by 20” long (plus 3” long extender chain) and closes with a stainless steel lobster claw clasp.

Estelle was the shyest of the villagers. She spent most days trying her best to avoid people but she loved animals. She felt a connection with them that she didn't get with others of her kind. Everyday after her chores Estelle would sneak off to her favorite place, the dragon's lair. Something about those adorable creatures with a little danger called to her.

The more time Estelle spent with her dragon friends, the more she started to notice some teasing among them and it seemed to be focused on one small, very meek dragon named Joey. Joey was easy to pick on but if the other dragons had looked past his undersized wings and tiny body they might have seen just how mighty he actually was.

As Estelle approached her friends one fateful day, something seemed different than all the other days before. The mood was heavier. All the dragons were huddled in a circle surrounding Joey. As they were taunting and pushing him the fear left his eyes to be replaced with a new twinkle. A huge puff of dust from the scuffle seemed to grow larger and larger until it was bigger than the whole group of dragons. Poof- then it was gone! Joey was gone! Where had Joey gone?!

In a panic, Estelle rushed to the spot where Joey had once stood to find a green amulet laying in his place. Confused, she picked it up and as the light hit the eye at the center of the amulet Estelle recognized the twinkle and knew it was Joey's eye. Estelle understood then that it would be his turn to protect her always. She placed the necklace around her neck and she and Joey ran away from the village on a quest of endless adventure together.

Care instructions: Anodized aluminum is hypoallergenic and lightweight. It will not rust or tarnish. Use mild soap and warm water to gently clean the chainmaille component of this necklace and allow to air dry. When not wearing your jewelry, store the piece in its own Ziploc® or soft fabric bag. Keep in a dark place. This will preserve colored rings longer. Do not shower, sleep, or swim with your jewelry on.
